Frequently asked questions

A few good answers.

Music, collaborations, browser games, and the creative side of Maneframe — answers all in one place.

What’s the story behind Maneframe?

I’m a computer nerd, I’ve always liked lions, and I like adding electronic sounds to my music. Maneframe brings all of that together in one name.

How many people make up Maneframe?

Just me, Mark. I make the music, run the website, build the games, and manage the Spotify playlists. Maneframe is a one-person operation. When I collaborate with other musicians, they’re credited on those releases.

Who is Maneframe?

Maneframe is an independent music project based in Easton, Pennsylvania, blending electronic rock, post-rock, synthwave, and other guitar- and synth-driven sounds.

Where can I listen to Maneframe?

Explore the Listen Now section of maneframe.net to find the streaming platforms and music links. You can also check out the Spotify Playlists page for artist-curated discoveries.

What kind of music does Maneframe make?

Expect a mix of instrumental guitar music, electronic textures, cinematic post-rock, rock, synthwave, and occasional heavier or more relaxed experiments. Not every release sounds alike.

Where should I start if I’m new?

Visit the Listen Now page and explore a few releases. If you’re into spacious, guitar-driven instrumentals, start with Under One Sky; if you prefer something else, browse the rest of the catalog.

Does Maneframe release singles, albums, and collaborations?

Yes. The catalog includes singles, full-length releases, covers, and music made with other artists. Featured collaborators are credited where applicable.

How can I stay updated on new music?

Can I use Maneframe music in a video, stream, podcast, or game?

Please ask first. Permission and licensing depend on the song, intended use, and whether other rights holders are involved. Use the contact page and include the track and project details.

Can I use a song commercially?

Commercial uses need individual approval and may require a paid license. Contact Maneframe with details about the project, distribution, budget, and timeline.

Do you collaborate with other musicians?

Collaboration inquiries are welcome. Send a quick introduction, samples of your work, and an outline of your idea through the contact page.

Can I remix or cover a Maneframe track?

Reach out before releasing a remix or using the original recording. Covers and remixes can have different rights requirements depending on what you plan to distribute.

Can I submit my own music for a Spotify playlist?

Yes. Submit your music using the official playlist submission form on the Spotify Playlists page. Please do not send playlist submissions through the general contact form. Submission does not guarantee placement.

Many arcade titles are designed for touchscreen play as well as desktop controls. Individual game support and performance may vary.

Do I need an account?

Not for every game. Some online features, including saved progress, scoreboards, or challenges, may require signing in.

How do high scores and replays work?

Some games use the Maneframe Arcade System (MAS) for online scores, challenges, and replay features. Available features depend on the game.

I found a game bug. Where should I report it?
